Had enough of the rampant victim mentality running amok nowadays? I know I have. Based on that, I’m assuming you have, too.
Sure, there’s always going to be a need for a certain amount of protest, backlash, boycott, and demands for apology and other correction. We understand that. Like Rosa Parks’ Montgomery Bus Boycott, for example. That was probably a good idea. Gandhi’s non-violent labor strikes in India. Another worthy example. Lech Walesa’s Solidarity movement in Poland. That fits the general idea nicely, too.
But you know, some of these douchebags really go too far with the whole “I’m offended, and I demand an apology!” thing. Somebody has to weed out the most self-indulgent and egregious of these complainers for recognition.
That’s why we at TCFP have taken upon ourselves to reveal our newest feature: The Victim Mentality Award!
We bestow this award onto any shbag who’s trying just a little too hard to kick up outrage and demand apologies as a mere attempt at elevating themselves. Each recipient of this dubious honor should take it as a rhetorical boot in the ass to toughen up, stop being a victim, and desist with being a pain in humanity’s asses. Enough with the fucking whining, already!
The Victim Mentality Award: The Chuck Foxtrot Page’s latest unread category, and empty attempt to improve mankind by pointing out that which is the most ludicrous.
